Graduates of our program have captured first place in the City of Pittsburgh High School Golf Championships.

Children in our 1998 program captured first place in both male and female City of Pittsburgh High School Golf Championship categories.

Recognized by the USGA as having the best program of its type in the nation! Going directly to the children, taking them to facilities, follow through with golf passes and clubs and opportunities to caddy and be mentored have made the PYGF a national model.

Out of the top twelve placements in the City of Pittsburgh High School Championships in 2002, eight of the children had been in our program.

The PYGF program boasts a superior team of instructors. Our staff has included a National PGA Teacher of the Year and multiple Tri-State Teachers of the Year.

"With so much trouble in the schools and with kids nowadays, I also thank you for the opportunity to let me get in quality time with my son with something we both enjoy (finally!) and do together. I thought he was slipping away from me - not that I want to keep him all to myself for the rest of my life - like he wouldn't listen as well or take guidance from me well. With the time we both have golfed together.he's listening better and takes guidance again. It's given me and him a chance to discuss what's important in his life right now and how to handle it and to relax and enjoy each other's company. That's priceless!"

"Sterrett students are enriched not only with the knowledge and skills of the game but they also learn sportsmanship and ethics by participating in the program."
