Why give?

There are moments when golf is everything that life is.

Since 1991, Pittsburgh Youth Golf Foundation (PYGF) has been bringing the game of golf to young people of all backgrounds and specifically to those who may never have the opportunity to play it.

Through focused and disciplined programs utilizing the Tri-State Professional Golf Association certified instructors and the LPGA, the PYGF is teaching disadvantaged, at-risk and inner city youth about sports and life, and that golf is a cauldron for character building whether you are a professional or a first-time amateur.  We maintain a variety of programs which include spring programs, Girls Golf, Holy Family Institute and summer golf camps.

The nurturing of our children affects the future of our region, and programs offered by PYGF need to be expanded and supported.  Through the support of generous donors like you, PYGF will continue to teach lessons about being patient; that good strategy and hard work are tough to beat; and that adversity can be overcome if you believe in yourself.
