IN THE FAIRWAY
...........................................................................
1995 saw a fundamental shift in strategy, in particular, how to reach out to more children. The major change was the development of an alliance with the Pittsburgh Public School System and the Tri-State Section of the PGA.

-
Spring Clinics run for six weeks with instruction at each school, driving ranges and a Par 3
-
Week seven takes the Tournament to a golf course; 50 children per school
-
Finale/Awards occurs after play at a golf course
-
Passes available to a golf course with clubs on loan to our children
-
In 1998, the Foundation started a spring program and a camp program for the children in the Diocese of Pittsburgh
-
Ongoing long-range plans for the 21 st century are being formulated and implemented
-
All instructors are PGA Professionals
"The pride of the students and commitment of the many adults who are volunteers in the program were both evident through the awards finale. You and the "pros" are indeed doing great work."
